ZAMFIR DUMITRESCU – Exhibition
at the Fine Arts Museum
Starting with 26th of February 2016 at the Fine Arts Museum, 2, Grigore Antipa Street, the public may visit the temporary exhibition of paintings created by the contemporary artist Zamfir Dumitrescu.
The complex personality of Zamfir Dumitrescu is reflected by its various ocupations: artist, politician, profesor, publicist. About him, the great Romanian artist Corneliu Baba, whose student the painter was, said:
“…ZAMFIR DUMITRESCU has proved a rigorous work discipline and that helped him to finalize succesfully all his targeted aims … His intelectual capacity, sensitivity, artistic intuition, creative imagination, all these qualities which help him to shape the artistic personality are completed by an impressive perseverence, a finesse worthing to be followed, and a great lucidity regardind both the aim and the complexity of the path to achieve it.”
