Casa Avramide, 32, Progresului Street, is hosting, starting Tuesday evening, the People and Deltas photo exhibition signed by Dragos Lumpan, the 50 snapshots captured by the artist presenting inhabitants of three wetlands in Romania, Spain and Turkey.
“I prefer to take pictures of people. The Delta is not very populated, but still there are about 10,000 people. I think every once in a while they deserve more attention, or at least a little attention, more than the anything left from the birds, more than the support to give me a fried fish or a fish borsch,” declared Dragos Lumpan, during the opening in Tulcea.
The exhibition hosted until the end of this month by Casa Avramide presents people from the Danube Delta, Romania, the Ebru Delta, Spain, and the Kizilirmak Delta, Turkey, snapshots taken last year and this year.
