In the centre of Cerna locality, near the village church, the attention is drawn on a craftsman housing from the middle of the 19th century. It is the Memorial House of the poet Panait Cerna.
The memorial exhibition organised in three halls shows biographical data of the poet, copies of the photographs, documents, civil status and studies official documents, issues of poet’s works, critical references.
Other exhibition halls host the reconstituted traditional rural interior of a house belonging to this area, the visitors having the opportunity to know the beauty and authenticity of the furniture and woven materials from the early 20th century.
Outdoor exhibition presents the traditional agricultural tools, proof of one of the main occupations practiced in this area.
